Leaving a Legacy – Its not to late Act Now

I have had this word Legacy running through my mind constantly for the past 24 hours or so and I am wondering what my legacy will be? What will I leave for my children? Years after my death will colleges use my life, my business for a case study? Will business owners look to my legacy as an example or model to follow in establishing and developing their own businesses?

I am 27 years old, no formal education beyond High School, I currently am attending a community college, I own and operate my own business, of which I am content with but not completely satisfied with. I feel that there is more, more to do, more opportunities to be had. I wonder about my future and the decisions I am making today and how they will impact my legacy.

Why is this so important to me? For starters I have always had dreams of being “important”, meaning I want to be someone of authority someone with answers to peoples problems, I want to be a “household name”. Not in the sense that General Electric is, but more like Apple and Stephan Covey. I want to help people in important ways like Apple and Covey have. Apple is revolutionizing technology providing great tools for families, students and business. Covey has helped thousands of people change their lives, improve their families and enhance their businesses. His legacy will go on for years after his death, people will be using his profound ideas to solve problems and change things for decades to come!

I have thought about this for a long time, and now that we are coming up on the one year mark of Obama as our Nations President I am convinced that the millions of dollars he spent during and prior to campaigning and the election on social media and web based ads were by far the most effective dollars he could have spent.

If it was really that easy…

Over the past month or so I have seen an influx of spam to my email. I believe that my email address was sold about a hundred times and it seems like no matter what I do I can not get them to stop! Instead of getting frustrated and mad I decided that I would take a look and see what I could learn from a marketing standpoint in the emails and on the landing pages they redirected me to. Most of these emails are being sent from MLMers (multi level marketers) and get rich quick schemers. Those new unbelievable internet businesses that can make you millions, and by “you”, they are referring to the guy that created the program. He gets you to buy into a system, that money goes strait to his pocket because all you are getting is an ebook that discuss some phony system that wont work. But the guy that created the program is getting rich because his target market is the 70% of people that fall for those schemes and buy in before they really evaluate the system or the program they are buying.

Something else that often happens to me, is that people will ask me to evaluate one of these online businesses to see if it is something that they should try to do. Their first impression is that it looks simple enough, it does not require much time, and its only $49 to $99 to get everything that you need to start making tens of thousands a month. I am always skeptical, when presented with a new business idea, not because I think everything is a scam, but because there are a bunch of people out there that are trying to make their millions off of our excitement and the vulnerability of those that are naive to these types of businesses.

Debt Freedom

Statistics show staggering results when it comes to the amount of Americans in debt. If the amount of Americans in debt seems to be a huge number, the number that describes how much debt they are in is even larger.

Credit cards have linked together to form a chain that has tied the majority of the United States down. Rise Above Debt Relief has recognized this as a major issue that not only affects the American economy as a whole, but it also affects each individual.

Rise Above Debt Relief can proudly say they are “America’s most trusted company for debt relief” because they begin building trust with the individual. With Rise Above Debt Relief, there is no automated system; they do not offer the proverbial quick-fix. They offer long term freedom from the daunting task of rising above several thousands of dollars in debt. CEO Jeff Boulton, in an interview with a local NBC reporter, explained in response to her uncertainty regarding credit counseling services, “I understand there has been much skepticism out there. We are not a specific credit counseling agency. We are a debt settlement agency.”  In the same interview, Boulton stood behind his company and showed his genuine concern for the struggling American consumer by urging those in debt to research all debt relief agencies when evaluating which company to turn to in these times of financial turmoil.

Boulton’s obvious confidence and evident concern for the customers who turn to his company only reaffirms the aforementioned company slogan. Rise Above Debt Relief has identified the serious need for liberation from the debt anchor which is weighing Americans down. Rise Above Debt Relief has also identified a solution for those who seek it.
