Creativity, unity, trust = a crowd pleasing performances

Here is a creative group of people that have developed unity and trust with each other, resulting in a powerful presentation that inspires and uplifts others.

What would be different about our lives, our working conditions if we had this type of relationship with our co-workers, employees or clients?

Do you think that you could be more effective in performing your services or selling you products?  Would you like to to feel like people cared more about you then what you had to offer?  How would people feel about excepting your bid over your competitors lower price?

There are a couple of main concerns that people have when deciding which company/person is going to do the work they need done, or from whom they will purchase their new car.

  • First, (and probably most weighed, for the average consumer) THE PRICE!
  • Second, YOU, the individual selling the service/product.

They want a reasonable price and in today’s economy that is understandable.  Now being in the service industry I realize that there are some people out there who want a lot of something for nothing.  Some people that base their entire decision on the price and latter regret their decision, because in essence they got what they paid for.

For a reasonable person, who realizes the value of hard work and quality work, they are going to consider the price, probably look around for some other options, but they are going to remember you.  They are going to add you to their scale of decision, whether it is for good or bad is going to be up to you.  People want to know that you are friendly, trust worthy and not going to make a bunch of false promises.  (Under promise and over deliver is the key to winning with people)

That’s when having some basic relationship building skills come in real handy.

Now back to the example from the video…

Why, Creativity, Unity and Trust?

Why Creativity – when developing relationships we are either a creator or a reactor.  We should create the relationships we want, but often we just react to others and their decisions.  Being a creator requires some creativity.  It requires that we are willing to step outside the box, go the extra mile, and do the things we don’t want to do in order to have the type of relationship that we want.  When we act as a creator we are in control of our results.  Sometimes we need to be creative, thinking outside the box to show our customers/clients that we are dedicated to providing the best service.

Why Unity – it would seem that there are times when the only way to help someone or influence someone, is to unite with them.  Working with a team (work or sports) requires that we know each other and understand each others unique attributes.  It requires that as a team everyone works together to accomplish the same goal.  In order to truly be united as a group or team, each person involved must be willing to support and rely on the others.  Unity creates a bond that is often hard to break.  It can be the glue that in tough times keeps everyone focus and together.  Unity provides a reason to succeed, when others are relying on you, you do your best because you don’t want to let your team down.

Why Trust – without trust you will never take the time to build unity with anyone.  If you cant trust someone, you will have a hard time uniting with them.  Trust is the key to developing a relationship that will allow you to be completely open with another person.  It is a blanket of security, trusting that we can confide in someone at our weakest moment and not fear rejection or disclosure.  Trusting that the person who we agree to do business with, will follow through with their commitment.  Giving away our trust is not an easy thing to do, we sometimes require someone to go through several test before we agree to put our trust in them.  It’s understandable, this fear of trusting someone else.  How many times have you been hurt because you trusted in another person and they took advantage of you?  Unfortunately it happens all the time, people say what we want to hear, but they end up doing something completely different.

Summary:

Creating a work of art (like in the video) is no easy task.  It requires commitment from more then one person.  We all want to create a work of art, whether it is in our career, or personal life there are master pieces to be painted.  Our relationships perfessionally and personally should all be treat like a work of art, a master peice in the making.  All master pieces have the same ingrediants, a passionate creator!  Start creating your master pieces by learning to be creative, build unity and trust others.
