We have a new client at Blogging For Business 101… Amazon Landscapes. A local landscaping company that is just starting up.

Why does a landscaping company need a website and a blog? For the same reason any other business would want and should want to have one…to bring in more business.

We are using a simple WordPress blog for Amazon Landscapes, and we decided to go that rout because of their desired direction of the site and blog. They want to use their blog to drive traffic to their site, but they want to use their site primarily for customer service needs.

The company also did not want to have to spend much more money then necessary and if there is one thing that we will never do at Blogging For Business 101 is sell you something that you don’t need. Will they need to upgrade eventually? Yes. Will waiting hurt them? No, as long as the WordPress site/blog is developed professionally there is no reason why you have to build the expensive blog first. They have even made it much more efficient these days by creating seamless tools that allow you to transfer your post from one blog to another.
