Making a fundamental decision

In about 2 months we will have, as American Citizens a huge decision to make. The choices we make in November will drastically effect, not only the next 4 years of our country, but ultimately they could damage our safety (as a country) and the future of our families.

I wont beet around the bush or deny the fact that I have not been to excited about our choices for the future leaders of this country. The man that we will call President could possible destroy our country as we know it or change nothing and continue things as they have been.

I will also admit that I HATE politics, cant stand the game that is played between two parties that are supposedly “working towards the same goal”. Promises made that we can almost be certain will never become a reality. Things will be set in place strategically to ensure that we will reelect someone because they are working so hard to accomplish those “promises” and he will convince his followers that if he is not reelected then there will be no hope for his promise.

When I think of the future of our country and the man leading it, the first emotion I feel is FEAR! Fear that we could be lead by a man that could very well be nothing more then a mouth piece for our enemies. A man that is promising to sit down face to face with our enemies and forgive and forget.

It strikes me this year that there is something to be concerned about as an American. I fear that my freedom could end, that we as a nation will be in turmoil or conquered by our enemies. And it wont be a surprise attack, nope, they will walk in the front door and be welcomed by the man that we call our President.

Someone sent me this video today, and the only reason I am posting it is because I think that people need to snap out of this cult like trance that Obama has on them. I think that Obama has been more successful in winning a larger following then McCain. And it is because he is flattering, charming, different, he speaks with power, and he has the ability to make you believe the things that he says. He is a great speaker, and has developed some skills that not many people have, but is he using them for good, or is he deceiving us in order to get what he wants?

Are you making the right decision? Have you been suckered to believe in the empty promises of a man that shows no respect for the very country he is fighting to lead?
