Weed control is something that most people deal with in their yard and garden. It can be a frustrating and time-consuming problem to control or even to prevent.

It is important to adjust your watering schedule according to the season…
F.A.Q about Comments
I often receive a few of the same questions from clients and prospective clients when it comes to reader comments. It is understandable if you think of the impact the public voice has and the devastating effects it could have.
Here are a few of the questions…
- Do I have to allow comments?
- How will I know what people are saying?
- What if I don’t have time to monitor the comments? (usually a follow-up to question 2)
- If someone leaves a negative or destructive comment can I delete it?
- What happens if I don’t respond to reader comments?
- How can I mange reader comments?
- How important is to allow people to leave comments?
Here are some of my answers…
- No. But if you don’t allow comments you might as well not have a blog and just use your website.
- You have to read the comments! You have to monitor your blog on a daily bases.
- Pay a Content Manager, someone to monitor and respond to the comments. This is also a service that we offer.
- Yes. But that is not going to solve the problem. You cant just make it go away by deleting it! Someone is still upset and will find somewhere else to vent if you don’t allow them to do so on your blog where you can control it. If they run off and start blogging about your business on some other blog you then lose control of the situation. As long as they are commenting on your blog you can control the direction of the problem and provide a solution.
- You will lose readers! Which is the whole reason to having a blog. For people to read it. If you are not responding to the people the people will stop responding to you. You have to view each reader as a customer. Even if they are not using your services or buying your product they are customers because they are reading your blog. They may even be linking to your blog from theirs which is another form of advertising for your business. It’s the same as receiving a referral. Each time a person returns to read your blog, you can consider them a repeat customer and a happy customer!
- The best way is to pay a Content Manager to do it for you. They can even provide you with a print out or an email with all the comments so you can review them at your convenience and you wont have to worry about responding because your content manager can handle that too. But when you review the comments you are likely going to want to address some of them yourself. So just have your content manager post your response.
- In my opinion VERY IMPORTANT! Anyone should be allowed to leave comments. No registering, no signing in first. People wont take the time to do that. They want to get in and get out. Comments will help you reach the uniqueness your blog needs. They will help you build your brand and show the people who you really are. And that you really do care.
